- Login to your SNAPOS account. You will land on the SNAPOS dashboard screen.
- On the SNAPOS dashboard, choose the product icon at the left panel
- Click create a new item
- Enter your product name
- Either go for the general category or add the new category, as per your requirement.
- If you are planning to create a new category, choose the Add category > enter the category name > choose the color of the category and click save category
- Upload the product image by choosing the camera icon
- Update the selling price, the discount (Either in amount or percentage) of the products if they exist, UoM (unit of measure -either u can choose if any from the default UoM or you can create the new UoM)
- On barcode > connect the scanner and update the barcode.
- Under additional details - Update the HSN code, MRP / MSRP, and product description to display on the online store.
- Further, if you maintaining an online store, you can enable - Show product under online store settings
- Finally Save Product
Once you save the product, you can see the added item in the respective category.
To add or delete the category
- Go to the SNAPOS dashboard screen
- Choose the setting icon on the left panel
- Next, select manage category
- Either you can add or delete a category on this page
